My background

Portrait of a woman standing outdoors in front of green leafy plants, wearing a dark blue denim dress.

I came to the UK from South East Asia at an early age. That experience of displacement and feeling like an outsider shaped a lifelong search for identity, belonging, and purpose. It took me through years working as an artist and producer in the creative industries before I trained as a therapist and coach.

I'm late-diagnosed ADHD. For years I masked struggles with focus, organisation, and energy without realising that's what I was doing. That unrecognised masking led me into burnout, more than once. That personal journey sits at the heart of my therapy-informed coaching practice.

Growing up between two cultures, I understand the tension of navigating a world whose values don't always match your family's or your heritage. I also understand how neurodivergence, race, and cultural identity overlap in ways that aren't always easy to name.

I also live with an autoimmune condition alongside ADHD. I know the added complexity that fluctuating energy and chronic illness bring to work, self-worth, and daily life. I bring that lived experience into everything I do.

My approach

I'm both a qualified therapist and coach, and I bring both into how I work. Some sessions are reflective and emotionally focused. Others are more practical and action-oriented. It depends on what you need, and that can shift from week to week. I follow your lead and adapt as we go.

I work with Psychosynthesis, a holistic approach that sees you as a whole person, not just the difficulties you've come with. Depending on what works for you, sessions can include reflective exercises, creative and visual tools, guided imagery, or practical worksheets and mapping activities to help you organise your thoughts, identify patterns, and plan meaningful change. Not everyone connects with the same way of working, so we find what fits you.

My role is to help you find your own answers, enabling you to gain greater clarity and empowerment. Having confidence in yourself and your own thinking enables you to make lasting change.

Qualifications

I hold postgraduate qualifications in Psychosynthesis counselling, coaching, therapeutic photography, and neurodiversity-affirming practice, as well as diplomas in regression therapy and hypnotherapy.

I'm an accredited member of the BACP, a senior accredited member of EMCC Global, and a member of the General Hypnotherapy Register.

I also hold a Masters in Photography.

Nhung is a warm, capable consultant who makes you quite at home with both her and the therapy very quickly.
