My background

Portrait of a woman standing outdoors in front of green leafy plants, wearing a dark blue denim dress.

Originally coming from Vietnam at an early age, I recognise the challenges of displacement and otherness through my own personal search for identity and connection. Throughout my life I always felt a need to discover my purpose and in doing so crossed over careers as an artist and a producer in the digital entertainment industry where I worked for many years in creative agencies, so I understand the pressure, pace, and responsibility that come with creative work. I have always had a strong fascination for the workings of the unconscious and it was through my artistic practice I was led to training as a counsellor and subsequently a coach.

I am late-diagnosed with ADHD and experienced burnout on more than one occasion before realising that something had to change. For many years, I masked difficulties with focus, organisation, and energy, which affected my confidence and sense of capability. This experience strongly informs my work, particularly with neurodivergent clients.

In addition to my private practice I have an artistic practice as a photographer.

My approach

I have an integrative approach to counselling and coaching that draws upon imaginative and creative methods such as guided visualisations, and exploration of photos, drawings and dreams, paying attention to the holistic connection between body, mind and emotions.

Often our potential to live a fuller life is blocked by everyday psychological challenges. I guide my clients to explore the source of their issue and help them to find solutions to overcome their problems.

My training in Psychosynthesis recognises that we have many aspects to our personalities, which can cause conflict and limitations, such as when we are feeling anxious or unmotivated. Through exploration and understanding I can help you accept yourself as a 'whole person' so you can learn to believe that you are more than your problems, your past and the content of your stories.

Everyone arrives to the process at very different personal stages. I am committed to meeting each person where they are at as an individual, and can provide you with a safe, confidential and non-judgemental space, providing empathy and respect for you, your values and belief system.

I offer short-term coaching and therapy to address specific issues, or we can work long-term for a deeper exploration of key issues and healing over time at a pace that’s comfortable for you.

If you would like to get in touch to ask any questions or to book an initial session then please contact me and I will respond to you as quickly as possible.
